NCAA and NIT/ WNIT Play Times for Iowa Teams

The NCAA Tournaments begin with Men’s Play-In games the next two nights, then the Women start Play-In on Wednesday. After that, the NCAA Tournament kicks in for both the men and women. Teams in Iowa have had a great year, so many of them have made it to the big dance. Plus, two state teams are going to the NIT Tournaments. Below is a schedule of first-round games.

Our teams (in order of play date and time) in the NCAA Tournament:
Iowa State Men vs. S Dakota State – Thursday at 6:35 p.m. – truTV
Drake Men vs. Washington State – Thursday at 9:05 p.m. – truTV
Drake Women vs. Colorado – Friday at 6:00 p.m. – ESPNN
Iowa State Women vs. Maryland – Friday at 6:30 p.m. – ESPN2
Iowa Women vs. (Play-in winner) – Saturday at 2 p.m. – ABC
Also, the Iowa Men are in the NIT Tournament. They play Kansas State tomorrow at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
The UNI Women are going to the WNIT Tournament, but the time and date are still to come. We do know that the winner of the Saint Louis at Central Arkansas game on Thursday will be their competitor.
