Most schedule releases bore me. But not the NFL schedule release. As fans, we plan weekends, wedding, full months & the entire season of Fall around football schedules. And if you’re a fan of one of the “BIG 5” NFL teams here in Des Moines (Vikings, Chiefs, Packers, Bears, Cowboys), then you had to love this week because now you can start “win-lossing” your favorite team & looking at plane tickets for those road games.
Week 1 alone has 5 juicy matchups for the teams most followed by Iowans.
Cowboys @ Buccaneers: Duh. Brady & the champs. Is Dak back?
Vikings at Bengals: What’s Burrow gonna look like? The Minnesota offense should be deadly
Packers @ Saints: This would be much sexier if it was Brees vs Rodgers but…
Browns @ Chiefs: A week one playoff rematch!?! How mad are Mahomes & the Chiefs this year?
Bears @ Rams (SNF): Is it Fields time? Stafford’s LA debut?
