It was ONE practice. ONE. In shorts. But the national media took 6 tweets & 2 videos of Green Bay Packers Quarterback, Jordan Love and RAN with it. “Maybe they don’t need Rodgers”. “Maybe everyone was wrong”. “Did the GM really know how good this kid would be”? “They may not miss Rodgers after all”.
After 1 practice where he had a few good drives as written on Twitter. By the way, the day before, those same writers wrote that Love looked TERRIBLE and not ready at all. And this is the way the sports world (and politics, and entertainment and, and, and….) works: We have no patience. Jordan Love isn’t ready BUT it’s safe to assume that he can/will and IS improving. That’s what’s supposed to happen. He didn’t have a minicamp last year & he didn’t have much of a training camp either thanks to Covid-19. It shouldn’t shock ANYONE that while the Aaron Rodgers drama plays out, that the rookie getting all of the snaps is getting BETTER.
